2016 Ford Fusion PHEV Price and released

The 2016 Ford Fusion PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric) is currently in its second generation and is expected to be be released at the end of 2016 with no know specific date. The price will be around $22,500 and $23,000. The Titanium model will cost more than $30,000. The freshly enhanced design of the mid-sized sedan, made a bit wider with remarkable newly designed interior and exterior.

The front and rear exterior of the 2016 Ford Fusion PHEV was designed to have a more aggressive look. One of the parts Ford decided to change are the windows, they will no longer have the small front quarter windows, instead it will have a solid one piece window on the left and right sides of the sedan. The Ford Fusion PHEV’s front has eye-catching bumpers with fog lamps, and automatic wipers while the grille will remain the same to match the style of the body. The rear end of the Ford Fusion PHEV will also have newly designed tail lights.

It features many new available colors, comfortable leather upholstery, a flat top dashboard with metallic designs, and detailed wood elements. The 2016 Fusion PHEV decided to carry over the MyFord touch screen, which will be centered in the middle. The sedan will come equipped with wider heated and cooled front seats for the driver and passengers, ambient lights, heated steering wheel, available parking assistance, rear-view camera, lane departure warning, lane keeping system, rear parking sensors, and anti-lock brakes. Depending on the model of your choice, you can choose the option of equipping cross-traffic alerts and/or blind spot monitors. It will still keep its same light body weight and also the same bodylines but the car will have many new color options.

The Ford Fusion PHEV has a very reliable fuel economy. Its engine is a 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower and a max of 270 lbs torque. One possible option Ford is making is to no longer have the shift lever, but instead have a 9 speed automatic transmission. The power will be transferred to the front wheels, with all wheel drive as a option. The 2016 Fusion will give 26 miles per gallon with the 2.0 engine and will provide you with a much better performance, while the 1.5 liter EcoBooster will have 28 miles per gallon.
